- You can buy your currency now, and benefit from our excellent exchange rates.
- You can reserve your currency in advance using a "forward contract". This means you can fix the exchange rate you will receive up to one year before you actually need the currency, while only having to deposit 5-10% of the value of the currency you wish to buy.
- If you have a view on where the market is likely to go, you can leave a "limit order", and we will monitor the market on your behalf, buying your currency when the market reaches your specified level.
- If you have a "worst case" exchange rate costed into your budget, but feel that the rate will improve, we can work a "stop order", which will automatically buy your currency if the exchange rate reaches your worst acceptable level. This mechanism protects you against a sudden adverse movement in the rate. Clients often use a limit order and a stop order in combination, allowing the possibility of obtaining a better rate, while also protecting against unforeseen events that can cause unwelcome volatility.
